Professional Development ProgramAltitude Kids Professional Development Program provides a range of opportunities for you to attend in-service courses. These include: • Orientation sessions * • Short courses • Workshops • First Aid Courses • Annual Seminar * * For Altitude Kids staff only. Our in-service program is open to other non-Altitude Kids early childhood professionals at a cost. StudyAs per the Department of Communities regulations an individual has 2 years to complete their study, this includes the Certificate III in Children’s Services or Diploma. During this time they can work in the position that they are studying for, however after two years they can’t, this means that if a person fails to complete their Certificate III within 2 years they can no longer be employed. |

Most overseas qualifications require assessment into Australian education standards. To find out which position you qualify for within the early childhood field you will need to; Firstly, contact the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR) http://aei.dest.gov.au/AEI/QualificationsRecognition/default.htm or freecall: 1800 020 086 Secondly, upon the outcome of the NOOSR findings you will need to contact the Early Childhood Australia Qualifications Committee - ph: 02 9557 3191. Applications are open to persons with legal working entitlement within Australia to apply for a position with Altitude Kids. Please visit the Australian Immigration Department website at www.immi.gov.au for information on non-Australian residents obtaining working visas. |

As Altitude Kids is a company, it must pay its employees under the NAPSA – Child Care Industry Award Qld (40570). Other benefits may be entered into with staff members on an individual basis.
