Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care
As you all know we are planning to open Altitude Kids Moranbah in early July this year.  The development of the building is going well and it looks great.
This update is to inform you that we will stagger the opening of rooms within the Centre with the Babies, 2yr, 3yr and a preschool room opening in July.  We will then open the Outside School Hours Care and Vacation care at a later date, probably in October 2008.
The reasons for not offering Outside School Care immediately is that we are trying still trying to source enough trained staff to run the program, and we are also talking with Moranbah East State School about locating an Outside School Care Program within the grounds of the school, which will be more convenient for parents.

Enrolments
We have sent enrolment forms to some families on our waiting list. We are commencing with the families at the top of the list in each of the zero to five year age groups. We are assessing the take up of positions before offering more families positions; as you can understand we do not want to offer more positions than we have available in each age group. If you have not been offered a position yet, you will be offered one on the near future, or will be contacted about the age group being fully booked. You are welcome to call and check where your children are on the list. 

Bonds
Please understand that in order to confirm your child’s enrolment you need to pay the $400 bond. If you have any difficulty with this, please contact us.

Child Care Benefit
All families are entitled to child care benefit. Please contact the Family Assistance Office on 136 150 or www.familyassist.gov.au/  to get an understanding of what benefit you are entitled to. There are two types of benefit available, the Child Care Benefit, which is a percentage reduction in fees, plus a 30% rebate in out of pocket expenses.
